Join us June 2-6th, 2008 from 9am to noon for Places and Spaces: Art
and the Environment
Painters, sculptors and photographers have chronicled human
intersections with nature in public places and in architecture. Workshop
participants consider artworks that focus on historical portrayals as
well as imaginative futuristic explorations.
Throughout the five-day interactive workshop you will:
- investigate art in science, history and social studies
- explore strategies for including artwork across the curricula
- discover and engage in hands-on art-making activities for
personal or classroom experiences

Monday: Ecology and Public Art
Tuesday: Art and Architecture
Wednesday: Dichotomy in Documentary
Photography and Art
Thursday: Spaces and Places of the
Mind
and Imagination
Friday: Imagining the Future
