Fresh Paint: Celebrating Southern Arizona's artistic talent Saturday November 14, 2009 Fresh Paint is a one-day fundraising event sponsored by The University of Arizona Museum of Art (UAMA) and the UAMA Partners Board. This new and exciting event will showcase both established artists and fresh artistic talent in creating art that will be displayed in the Museum's Main Gallery and auctioned to benefit the exhibitions and educational programs of UAMA. Tickets for the Event: Tickets for the November 14th event, at a cost of $50 per person ($20 per ticket is tax deductible) are available by contacting Christine Aguilar at (520) 621-5676. You may download a printable ticket request for in Adobe Acrobat format by clicking here In the spirit of Fresh Paint, artists were encouraged to create a two-dimensional artwork -- in any medium -- on November 14 so that the finished work is truly "fresh." All works will be delivered to the Museum the afternoon of the 14th and will be auctioned during the evening's benefit. All artworks will be placed in the Silent Auction and the works of art receiving the highest silent bids will be placed in a Live Auction later that evening. Approximately 100 works will be accepted for this event. This casual venue will also feature fabulous food, fun music, and socializing with the Fresh Paint artists. The Silent Auction begins at 6:00 pm. At 7:30 the Live Auction will feature the outstanding works while the Silent Auction will continue until 8:30 pm. Don't miss this event! See you there!
