Saturday
9:00 am – 10:00 am
Upcoming Closure
UAMA will close for a museum improvement project beginning on June 22.
We believe in the power of art to spark essential conversations and enhance research at our university and in our community.
Please note that this event has already taken place.
William Ritschel, Light on the Sea, ca. 1915, Oil on canvas, Gift of Mr. and Mrs. Samuel L. Kingan
As Tucson temperatures reach triple digits, we'll cool down with a refreshing look at coastline depictions from our permanent collection.
The selection will include a variety of styles and feature artists like Clay Edgar Spohn, Anna Bonetti, Charles Warren Eaton, Winslow Homer and Roy Lichtenstein.
Due to an HVAC upgrade project underway at the museum during this time, we will meet virtually. Come and join us on Zoom!
Members Morning is a series where the UAMA opens one hour early to Museum Members on the first Saturday of every month and offers exclusive programming. Not yet a UAMA Member? Learn about the benefits.
